This week we were assigned to make invite cards for our class mates “art shows.” We had to go by styles, references or ideas from their previous works and how they described them selves. The initial idea was to incorporate a map of Russia with an airplane, showing that Olga(my partner) is from Russia. I couldn’t really come up with an illustration that did not remind me of travel agencies. I stuck with an image from St. Basil’s Cathedral. and redrew/traced it. I might rework it later.
